Program Description

Patrons of all ages can participate in a dinosaur adoption scavenger hunt, where they will discover dinosaur figurines hidden throughout the library. Each adopted dinosaur comes with a customized “Adoption Certificate.” After adopting your dino, take creative or absurd photos of it in real-world settings, similar to the Flat Stanley project, but with dinosaurs. Is the dinosaur at the mall, on a road trip, or even on a hike? Each Monday until the end of July, we will create a Facebook post where you can share your picture in the comments section. Don't have Facebook? Just email your picture to kreutzcreeklibrary@yorklibraries.org for us to post!
