Event Details
Join us learning how to create living spaces for plants and other creatures in your backyard. Some of the activities include seed sorting, log hotels, veggie crafts, and learning all about good bugs!
Our "Backyard Friends" programs occur throughout the year, offering kids ages 3-12 the opportunity to create and have fun as they learn more about what it means to be a good neighbor to the living plants and creatures in our own backyards!
This program is a walk through event; participants may arrive any time between 10 am and 11:30 a.m. but please allow sufficient time to engage in the activities. Pre-registration is not required but is helpful for us in planning. Those who pre-register will receive a reminder email 24 hours ahead of the event.
