Program Description

Event Details

Our beloved dogs Bridgie (Corgi) and Birdie (Golden Doodle) are eager to hear you share a story! Choose any book that interests you, sign up for a time, and read to our canine friends. Library Tales for Tails is a program encouraging literacy through offering a safe and friendly place for readers to practice reading out loud. However, we welcome readers (or preschool non readers) of all ages to sign up for a 15 minute time slot and share your favorite story, or just say hello.

Bridgie and Birdie are certified therapy dogs who are present in schools and libraries around the area.

Signing up in advance is encouraged (please call or stop by the front desk); drop ins are welcome but may need to wait for their turn.
