Program Description

Event Details

On the fourth Thursday of each month, the Children's Library hosts a Minecraft Tournament for kids ages 8-12! Each month has a different challenge. Registration is required and space is limited.

May's Challenge: Build a Tower in Hardcore Mode!

Everyone will have 45 minutes to build a tower—the catch: you'll have to do it in the hardest mode in the game! If you die while gathering supplies, building, or even showing off your tower, you're out! Tower rules: Must be at least 15 blocks tall, fully enclosed, and the player must be able to reach the top of the tower. Everyone will vote on the best tower out of the remaining players. Registration is required.

This game will be played on Hardcore Survival Mode on library computers or an approved personal device. Please arrive early if you are using your own device. The tournament begins promptly at 4:30 pm.

Registration is REQUIRED and space is limited. To register, stop by the Children's Desk, send us an email, or give us a call. If your child is using a personal device such as a Switch or tablet for this challenge, please tell staff when you register.
