Guthrie Memorial Library will host a discussion of the movie: The Spy In the Hanoi Hilton on Monday, March 17 at 6 p.m.

David C. Taylor is a Peabody and Emmy Award winning documentary film producer, director and writer who has made more than 100 independent films and programs over a 40+ year career.

Join him on Monday, March 17th for a discussion on the making of his film “The Spy In the Hanoi Hilton”. Talking points will include how he was able to get the Pentagon and the CIA to agree to release classified documents.

 If time allows, there will be a Q&A session at the end of the program. 

IN THE LIBRARY’S BARE CENTER SPECIAL GUEST LECTURER WILL DISCUSS HIS DOCUMENTARY “The Spy In the Hanoi Hilton” the unbelievable true story of James Stockdale and his fellow prisoners at the notorious "Hanoi Hilton." Their clandestine communications with U.S. intelligence alerted the CIA and Pentagon to the horrors of the Vietnamese POW camps and prompted a daring, top-secret rescue mission.
