Want to try your hand at Needle Felting? You will take home a little snowman as you learn this fun and exciting skill! This easy class will show you and teach you the technique to create a little felted snowman. This snowman can be used as an ornament or magnet. This is a family friendly program and children are welcome.
The class will start at 6:30 pm and you will have your snowman by the time you leave. So that we will have enough materials we ask that you register by calling the library at 717-993-2404 or by stopping by the library to sign up. There is no charge for this program; however a donation to cover the cost of materials would be appreciated.
The instructor for this Third Wednesday program will be Debbie Mancuso from the Teaching Museum for the Fiber Arts and Textiles locally located in Winterstown. Debbie has worked with fiber arts and textiles for over 35 years. She teaches hand spinning, sewing, and crocheting but enjoys wet felting and needle felting the most. If you want to learn more about classes, please contact her at 717-873-8960. Debbie will have kits for sale if you wish to purchase them.
