Event Details
Most of us love to see a variety of beautiful butterflies visiting the flowers and plants in our gardens. According to Penn State Extension, many of the 146 species of butterflies reported in Pennsylvania are common and widespread while others are so tightly connected to specific habitats or plants that we may never see them. Deb Carmen, a Master Gardener and Butterfly & Moth Habitat Specialist will be the speaker at the library's Third Wednesday Series of community programs. Using the natural attraction between people and butterflies, this program will inspire gardeners to make positive environmental changes that support the complex connection between the butterfly, all wildlife and native plants.
This program will begin at 6PM in order to allow time for questions at the end of her presentation.
