Event Details
Drop by the Glatfelter Memorial Library on Monday, September 16th between 1:00pm and 7:00pm to decorate a wooden nest box that you can take and put outside so that cavity-nesting birds can have a place to raise their young. We have a limited number of nest boxes available. This project is sponsored by York Fresh Food Farms Community Gardens which is run by Annalisa Gojmerac in celebration of York’s 275th anniversary. A special thanks to York Audubon Society, Uptown York Rotary Club Community Giving Grant, York Rotary Foundation and support of the Tenga Foundation, Welcoming Communities Grant Program, Downtown Inc, Better York, Powdermill Foundation, York County Community Foundation, Cultural Alliance of York County, and Crispus Attucks Charter School.
