Join Miss Beth from Pinchot Park and Miss Carol from the library and listen to stories about nature and do some nature activities. We meet at the Sunshine Pavilion at the Conewago Day Use Area.

"One person's trash is another person's treasure." Use recycled materials to create something practical or an eco-friendly piece of art. With a bit of imagination, items destined for the landfill can get a new life.

This program is geared for ages 12-18.

What to Bring

Look around your house and see what can be repurposed. Items can include clean colorful lids, paper, magazines, fabric, "steampunk" gears and gadgets, egg cartons, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, shopping bags, paper towel rolls, and so much more! Your library will have supplies, too.
