Program Description

Event Details

Come visit Bridgie (a Corgi) and Birdie (a Golden Doodle) as they eagerly await your stories. Library Tales for Tails is a program which encourages confidence  by inviting readers to read aloud to a very supportive and affirming audience, our friendly therapy dogs. Participants can read or share a book of their own choosing. Pre-readers are welcome to sign up as well and share a favorite story or just say hello! (Bridgie and Birdie love the attention!) Dog lovers of all ages are welcome!

Sign up is encouraged; stop by or call the front desk to reserve your spot. Drop-ins are also welcome; sign in and browse our wonderful books while you wait your turn with the dogs.
