Program Description

Event Details

Join us and our furry friends for Library Tales for Tails! This program is for elementary school age children who are reading alone and wish to practice reading aloud. Dogs provide an uncritical audience, boosting a child’s reading confidence.  A great opportunity for the reluctant or struggling reader!

Stop by with a favorite book (or grab one off the shelf) and read to one of our therapy dogs!

Call 717-292-6814 or stop by the library to register for a 20 minute session with one (or more!) of our certified reading therapy dogs!

Walk-ins are welcome!
