Celebrate singer, guitarist, composer, and Nobel Prize for Literature winner, Bob Dylan. Bob Dylan is surely one of the most influential musicians over the past sixty-five years; his impact on the wider culture is also quite extensive (roughly 2,000 books have been written about Dylan). The recent film A Complete Unknown, has brought Bob Dylan back into the conversation. He has written over 600 songs, many have become part of the fabric of the culture. We will sing some of those songs (e.g., "Blowing in the Wind," "Tangled Up in Blue," "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall," "All Along the Watchtower," "I Shall Be Released," "Shelter from the Storm," etc., and share some tales about Dylan. West Chester University professor (and guitarist and singer) doug morris, will share songs and stories. No registration is required for this event.
