If you’ve ever wanted to give improv comedy a shot, here’s your chance! Taught by the Appell Center's improv wiz Chris Myers, this 1-hour session gives you the opportunity to dive into classic and new wave improv games. Regardless of experience, expect to learn something new! 

Christina Myers has trained, worked, and performed from coast to coast with Improvisational Theatre legends including Gary Austin, Paul Sills, Del Close, Michael Gellman, Jeffrey Sweet, David Shepherd and many more! 

This program is geared for ages 12-18.

Pre-registration is required. Please register by June 25th 10 p.m.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Teen Program!

"One person's trash is another person's treasure." Use recycled materials to create something practical or an eco-friendly piece of art. With a bit of imagination, items destined for the landfill can get a new life.

This program is geared for ages 12-18.

What to Bring

Look around your house and see what can be repurposed. Items can include clean colorful lids, paper, magazines, fabric, "steampunk" gears and gadgets, egg cartons, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, shopping bags, paper towel rolls, and so much more! Your library will have supplies, too.

Draw a design on your shirt with our crayons, then a staff member will use our heat press machine to make it permanent!
